Happy Christmas!

Hello my lovelies …

It’s been a while since I’ve written and I have to say I’ve missed writing and hearing from you! I’ve been busy preparing for Christmas and more recently recovering from a sinus infection. I hope you’re surviving a busy December. It’s always such a busy month, isn’t it? I can hardly believe this year is almost over. It went by so-o fast!

Christmas Day is just around the corner and I hope you're enjoying a wonderful Christmas season with the many people you love. No matter what you're doing over the next few days, I hope you'll find some quiet time to meditate on the true meaning of Christmas and what it means in your daily life: That the very God of the universe chose to take upon himself the form of a mortal man as Immanuel, which means God with us. He knows each of us by name, knows each hair on our heads, loves us ridiculously and desires to have a relationship with each and every one of us.

Blessings to you and yours as we celebrate the birth of Christ during this very special season. May 2012 be full of every blessing!

Happy Christmas!

~Ruthie

For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. ~Isaiah 9:6

LOVE

Today's Reflection:

Fall in love every single day, with your first cup of coffee, the sun, yourself, your creator, your partner, life itself. Whatever it is, who ever it is, love, because love is grand and an incredible gift.

The words above were birthed today after some quiet time of reflection as I was drinking my first cup of coffee. I hope today has been good to you. As always, thanks for stopping by to read and to connect. Happy weekend ... xx, Ruthie

Some of my favourite spaces

For as long as I can remember, I've always loved and appreciated the art of interior design and the beautiful spaces we create in our homes along with the beautiful things we collect, acquire and arrange in our lovely homes. I'm a lover of all things beautiful: things, spaces, places, details, moments, people and life! The pictures below are a collection of some of my favourite spaces. Some of the spaces are absolutely dreamy and others make me want to retire and begin dreaming (napping). [insert smile here] I found these photos on the internet over a period of a few months and have collected them in a folder for inspiration. I absolutely love looking at every single detail and paying close attention to how each photo inspires me. Looking at these photos get my creative juices flowing. I hope you enjoy these photos as much as I do and may they inspire you as much as they've inspired me. Hurrah! The weekend is here! Happy weekend! ... xx, Ruthie
